Precautions for the use of bandages

Actualizar:2021-11-01
1. When doing each operation, confirm whether the on-site environment is safe and take personal protection. Only when the on-site environment is safe can the rescue be carried out.
2. Wound dressing should be "light, fast and accurate, cover first and then wrap, no cover or no wrap".
"Light": The bandaging action should be light, do not hit the wound, so as not to increase the pain and bleeding of the injured patient;
"Quick": Find the wound quickly, and the bandaging action must be quick, so as to avoid further infection of the wound and patient suffering;
"Quasi": The bandaging part should be accurate and tight, aiming at the wound and cutting it should not be missed;
"Firm": The bandage should be firm and tight enough to avoid obstructing blood flow and compressing nerves.

3. The bandage should not be too loose, otherwise the gauze will not be fixed. If you are inexperienced, after putting on the bandage, check whether the distal end of the body has become cold or swollen.
4. When tying a knot, don't be above the wound or behind the body.
5. If there is no bandage and must be bandaged, towels, handkerchiefs, sheets (torn into narrow strips), long-tube nylon socks, etc. can be used instead of bandages.
